In 2003 Donna started the Organisation Keeping Kids warm, helping homeless Teens , one stitch at a Time.
Over the years the Charity grew and is now supporting other organisations and charities in London.

One Project for Example is the Streetlight Mobile Youth Centre.
​
Streetlight exists to be a consistent resource meeting the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of at-risk youth in London. The Streetlight program operates out of our Mobile Youth Center (Streetlight RV) and is staffed by a team of dedicated outreach workers, placement students, and volunteers. Our goal is to provide a safe and consistent place for at-risk youth (16-25 years) to come to receive food, basic needs, support, advocacy, and a sense of community.

Our aim is to provide warmth for teen who have found themselves homeless.
We do so by providing handmade knitted, crocheted or loomed items such as mittens, hats, scarves, blankets and slippers.

For this we are asking for Donations like :
Scarves, hats, mittens
Clean Coats in good condition, also Sweaters and Hoodies
​

Additionally, each year we provide various local shelters and organisations with Survival Bags to distribute to the teens.
The Bags include personal toiletries and other items that one would need on a daily basis.
